Rach September 28, There are some great moments on there. Not every track is a winner but "Fire Makes Steel" is a belter! Some of the lyrics are very well written too. AOR Ive June 17, Jimi Jamison has still got a golden voice and the songs sung by Frankie Sullivan aren't to bad either.

A very nice return and hopefully Frankie will also dig up the stuff they have written and recorded Joan May 25, Not really HIBA May 2, But the one thing missing is still Mr Jim Peterik. Of course judging from that man's latest solo effort, maybe it's not so bad. Anyway, no classic like all the previous, just a nice comeback read more. Modulator May 1, Lot of people missing hard rock edge on this album it will be fine be my alsobut even without that "Reach" is beautiful.

Has anybody listen "Empires" album from band named Survivor ? That was very hard rock and very superb CD even little better than "Reach"! Jez May 1, First impressions were good, but the more I have spun this, the better it gets. Jimi Jamison still sounds great, although the Franke Sullivan sung tracks aren't exactly the best vocals I have ever, although songwise excellent.

The whole Survivor are back with a great record that will please every fan of AOR and melodic rock! But in fact, there's no weak track at all.

Jimi Jamison's vocals shine through the whole album and send shivers down my spine again and Frankie Sulliver delivers his most sensitive guitar work to date! ChrisHolmes April 26, Great Survivor come to take the throne of Melodic Rock!

The album was recorded over a period of three months in Los Angeles at the end of and this record satisfies the great demand of the fans who have been asking for new songs that could continue the legacy of the groups great sound. 1. This album is a must have for everyone who remember the late 70's and early 80's. Most people knows only the song "Eye Of The Tiger" but it includes other really good songs too. For myself, I have followed Survivor all years after this album, but unfortunately they splitted the band after they'r reunion, "Reach /5().

  8. Note: the second track on "Reach", "Fire Makes Steel" is a cover of a song the band had recorded with their original lead singer Dave Bickler for an album that was never officially released, but is available as a bootleg, and if you're a fan of Bickler's Survivor you'll want to track it down, as it has some fantastic moments as well!/5(50).
